The Challenge
The challenge was to create a brand that felt credible enough to communicate high-performance SPF protection, yet distinctive and elevated enough to belong in a premium skincare routine. It also needed to translate seamlessly across ecommerce, packaging, editorial photography, social content, and large-format advertising.
Solution
I positioned OLEA as a bold, modern skincare essential rather than a conventional sunscreen. Vivid cobalt blue creates instant recognition, while restrained black typography keeps the identity confident and sophisticated. A custom geometric sun symbol represents light, protection, and energy without relying on familiar sunscreen clichés.
